Earlier this week the Knights hosted their first home meet in two years, the Carleton Alumni Open. Although there were no team scores recorded for this event, the Knights have held onto the No. 9 spot in the Central Region in week two of the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III regional team rankings.
Marcus Huderle (So./Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie)is currently ranked sixth in the Central Region in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 3:59.96. Freshman Noah Laack-Veeder (Fy./Madison, Wis./ LaFollette) is also ranked eighth regionally in the 1,500-meter run, with a time of 4:01.90 at the Saint John's Invitational last month. Huderle is ranked first in the Central Region in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, with a time of 9:29.47.
The Knights will return to action this week at the Lee Krough Invitational in St. Peter, Minn.
