Men's Golf
Men's golf at Carleton College has one of the longest and most storied histories of any athletic program at the College. The Knights sport an individual national champion in Wally Ulrich '47, who captured the national title against Division I competition. The team won 12 Midwest Conference titles before moving to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) in 1983. The conference is nationally recognized as one of the most competitive men's golf conferences in all of Division III, offering the Knights top competition every time they play.
- Coach Profile: Jerry Ericksen
Jerry Ericksen begins his first season as the Carleton men’s golf coach. He previously served as the head coach for both Ole programs off and on for 15 years, including the first women’s team in college history. His men’s teams captured the 1967 Midwest Conference championship and the 1978 and 1982 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference crowns. Under his guidance, the women’s program won the inaugural MIAC Championships in 1988.

Hal Baseman is a senior economics major with a political economy concentration. Hal is from Chevy Chase, Md. He is a captain of the men's golf team.
