Women's Tennis
Carleton competes in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), which consists of 13 NCAA Division III private institutions. Competition is strong, with several teams consistently earning regional and national rankings. The Knights have enjoyed a great deal of success over the years, including national top 10 rankings in 1995 and 1996 and a team regional ranking for the past eight seasons. Carleton has finished in the top three of the MIAC standings 17 times since joining the conference in 1983 and qualified for the NCAA Championships in 2004-2005. The team was ranked in the top 30 nationally in 2010 and in the top 20 after the 2010-2011 season.
- Coach Profile: Luciano Battaglini
Luciano Battaglini enters his fifth season as Carleton's head women's tennis coach after joining the program in 2007-08. A native of Brasilia, Brazil, Battaglini spent four seasons as the assistant women’s tennis coach at the University of Minnesota prior to assuming his post as Carleton's head coach.

Hannah is a senior psychology major from Prairie Village, Kan. and Pembroke Hill High School. She was awarded All-Conference in singles in 2007 and Academic All-Conference in 2008.
- Student-Athlete Profile: Hannah Goldberg '10
Hannah is a senior economics major from North Oaks, Minn. and Mounds View High School. In 2007 she was awarded All-Conference in doubles.
