Men's Basketball
The men's basketball team has qualified for the MIAC Playoffs 13 times in the last 17 seasons and captured the program’s first conference title in 40 seasons in 2005-06.
- Coach Profile: Guy Kalland
Guy Kalland is Carleton's all-time winningest basketball coach, having reached 300 wins in 2005-06. He's led the Knights to the MIAC Playoffs 13 times in the last 17 seasons and coached them to the 2005-06 MIAC regular-season title, the school's first men's basketball conference title in 40 years.
- Student-Athlete Profile: Carter Biewen '11
Carter Biewen is a sophomore from Golden Valley, Minn. He had the second best three-point shooting accuracy in the conference in 2007-08 (56-129, 43.4%).
- Student-Athlete Profile: Tommy Drake '08
Tommy Drake helped the Carleton men's basketball team make the 2006 NCAA Tournament, the Knights' first trip to the national tournament in the program's 95-year history. The economics major participated in Carleton's Cambridge Economics Seminar in England in the summer of 2006.
