Volleyball
The volleyball team has finished in the top three of the conference standings four times over the last six seasons and won the 2004 MIAC championship. Under head coach Heidi Jaynes, the Knights have enjoyed unparalleled success, qualifying for the MIAC Playoffs five times during this stretch and advancing to the 2005 and 2007 NCAA Tournament.

Eckhoff, Barsness Receive MIAC Awards
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- A pair of Carleton College volleyball players received recognition from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) for their skill on the court this season. Laura Barsness was named Defensive Player of the Year for the second time and middle hitter Annie Eckhoff earned her first All-MIAC selection. More »
Lovett Earns Academic Honor
Carleton College junior Kelly Lovett was named to the 2009 CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Third Team. In her first season as a starter, she showed an impressive all-around game, pacing the Knights in kills and ranking second in digs. More »

- Coach Profile: Heidi Jaynes
Heidi Jaynes was the MIAC Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2004 and the American Volleyball Coaches Assocation (AVCA) central region coach of the year in 2004, enters her tenth season at Carleton after leading the Knights to the 2005 and 2007 NCAA Championships and their first appearance in the national top 10 AVCA poll.
