Volleyball
The volleyball team has finished in the top three of the conference standings every season since 2003 and won the 2004 regular-season title. Under head coach Heidi Jaynes, the Knights have enjoyed unparalleled success, qualifying for the MIAC Playoffs four straight times and advancing to the 2005 NCAA Tournament.

Heidi Jaynes was the MIAC Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2004 and the American Volleyball Coaches Assocation (AVCA) central region coach of the year in 2004, enters her tenth season at Carleton after leading the Knights to the 2005 and 2007 NCAA Championships and their first appearance in the national top 10 AVCA poll.

Sarah Kunelius is a senior chemistry major from Eagan, Minn. Sarah is a captain and a middle hitter for the Knights. She plays both volleyball and basketball at Carleton.
