Jerry Ericksen took over the Carleton men’s golf program before the 2007-08 season. He previously served as the head coach for both St. Olaf programs off and on for 15 years, including the first women’s team in college history. His men’s teams captured the 1967 Midwest Conference championship and the 1978 and 1982 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference crowns. Under his guidance, the women’s program won the inaugural MIAC Championships in 1988.
