SAAC
Carleton's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
What Is SAAC?
It's a student-run committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience, promote athletics, provide community service, and offer input on NCAA legislation. Carleton's SAAC is organized by an 8-member Executive Board of Carleton student-athletes. Each of Carleton's 20 sports are required to have at least two student-athletes as SAAC representatives for their sport.
The NCAA created SAAC in 1989 and requires that every member institution and athletic conference have a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
