2006 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships

Northfield, Minn. – Carleton College is pleased to announce it will host the 2006 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.

The world-class facility on the Twin Cities campus has hosted numerous USA Swimming, Big 10 and NCAA Division I Championships. The facility played host to the 2005 NCAA Division I Men's Championship, marking the third time the venue has hosted the event. The 1990 Olympic Festival, 1991 Women's Big Ten Championships, 1991 United States Open, 1991 United States Diving Championships, 1992 Men's Big Ten Championships and the 1993 NCAA Division I Women's Championships have also been staged at the Aquatic Center. It also hosted the Phillips 66/U.S. Swimming National Championships in 1998.

The women's championship meet will be held March 9-11 and the men's event on the following weekend, March 16-18.

This website will serve as a clearinghouse for information regarding the championships, so please check back for hotel information, maps and travel information during the 2005-06 school year.
