After the Carleton Men’s Cross Country finished second at this weekend’s MIAC Championships in St. Paul, the Knights kept hold of their no. 33 rank in the USTFCCCA rankings. As far as regional rankings, Carleton also did not move from the no. 5 slot, trailing St. Olaf and a trio of teams from Iowa.

The Knights were able to retain their spot in both rankings due to a solid team performance at the MIAC Championships. Senior Marcus Huderle (Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie) and sophomore Jonah Barry (Madison, Wis./Madison West) were Carleton’s two representative on the All-MIAC squad after finishing fifth and seventh respectively.

Prior to this season, the Knights had not been ranked since 2007.

The Knights will take part in the Great Karhu Shoe Race this weekend in Northfield before the NCAA Regional Championships at St. Olaf on Nov. 16
