Northfield, Minn -- The Knights were even with St. Olaf after nine holes of a match play dual before ultimately falling 15-9.
The format of the match gave players one point for winning the front nine, one point for winning the back nine, and one point for winning the overall match. After the front nine, the Knights and Oles both had four points.
Ned Rohrbach (Fy./Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) led the Knights by winning all three points in his match. Jeff Berg (Jr./Wooddale, Ill./Wheaton) bounced back from a slow start to win the back nine and overall match for two more points for the Knights.
The Knights are in action next at the MIAC Championships at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids, Minn. on October 6-8.
