KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Carleton College men’s soccer program is tied for No. 22 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s (NSCAA) 2013 preseason rankings announced on Tuesday.

Winners of five MIAC regular-season titles over the last six seasons, the Knights went 17-2-2 a year ago and advanced to the NCAA Championships for the second time.

Carleton, which has been nationally-ranked during five of the last seven campaigns, opens the 2013 schedule in Chicago with games on August 31 and September 1. The Knights first battle College of Wooster in a neutral-site contest and conclude the road trip with a tussle at Elmhurst College.
