One of the most competitive tennis programs in the midwest, the Carleton Men's Tennis team has advanced to the finals of the MIAC playoff in six of the previous seven seasons. In 2016, a school record six Knights were selected to the All-MIAC team.

In 2015, the squad had a season for the record books, as the team broke the school record for most victories in the regular season with a mark of 22-2. In addition, the team set the longest win streak in recorded school history (16-0), advanced to the finals of the conference tournament, and finished the season ranked No. 11 in the Central Region. The Men’s Tennis Team also received distinction for their academic performance, once again being named an ITA All-Academic team in 2015.

Three members of the Carleton College men’s tennis team earned All-MIAC honors for the 2015 season, and head coach Stephan Zweifel was named the  MIAC Coach-of-the-Year. Senior captain Andrew Hwang was the recipient of the 2015 Arthur Ashe Award, the conference’s highest honor that is awarded to a student-athlete with outstanding sportsmanship and exemplary athletic, academic, and humanitarian accomplishments.
