The Knights have built one of the strongest programs in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), finishing among the top two in the standings from 2003-2012.

Carleton won the 2010 MIAC Playoffs and has made three NCAA Championships appearances (1985, 2004, and 2010). The 2010 squad was finished the year ranked No. 29 in the nation and matched the school record with 21 victories that season, a win total the 2012 squad matched. The program has ranked among the region’s Top 15 teams regularly for the past 10 seasons.

The Carleton tennis team has also enjoyed success in the classroom, annually being named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team.
