A day off from the tournament provided the chance to learn more about Dutch culture and explore the country, highlighted by a boat tour of Amsterdam.  Nelson Wolf '14 provides highlights of the day.

Today was the first day of the tournament in the Netherlands.

Carleton's expert photographers -- Shawn and Lian Jiang P'13 -- took a number of fantastic pictures during the team's match against a club team in southern Germany. 

We had a great night on the town in Saarbrucken.  Today we headed back to the Netherlands.  We stopped on the way to spend the afternoon in Maastricht.

Today we played our friendly against a German club from near Saarbrucken.  When it started to rain midway through the match, we finished on indoor red clay courts! 

We began our trip to Germany today.  It was an adventure!
