    Knights Take Home 34 Academic All-Conference Honors

    The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2013-14 Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference honorees today, with Carleton student athletes earning distinction 34 times. To qualify for recognition, student athletes must be a sophomore, junior, or senior, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

    ‘C’ Club Hall of Fame to Welcome Four New Members

    In conjunction with Carleton College’s Alumni Reunion Weekend activities, four new members are to be welcomed into the 'C' Club Hall of Fame. The 39th annual induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 21 at the Weitz Center for Creativity. The 2014 induction class includes men’s distance runner Matt Hooley ’04, football player and All-American sprinter Gerard Cote ’94, women’s volleyball star Cristina Churchill ’89, and Marie Matsen ’69, a pioneer in women’s athletics.

    Marcus Huderle concluded his collegiate career with a 14th-place finish in the steeplechase at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

    Huderle advances to steeplechase final at the NCAA Championships

    Marcus Huderle is not ready to hang up his uniform yet. The senior steeplechaser made his second career appearance at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, posting a time of 9:09.16 during the prelims and earning him one last collegiate race in Saturday’s event final.

    Four Knights qualify for the NCAA Championships

    Four members of the Carleton College track and field teams head to Ohio this week to take part in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships from May 22-24. Senior Marcus Huderle will make his second trip to the national outdoor meet, while sophomore Amelia Campbell, junior Colette Celichowski, and senior Kao Sutton will take their first visit to this competition after all three represented the Carleton women’s program at the national indoor championships in March.
