Northfield, Minn. -- Concordia's Bobby Clark won MIAC Decathlon with an NCAA provisional qualifying score of 6,111.
Clark used a big first-event performance on the second day, running a 15.97 in the 110-meter high hurdles to score 736 points. Yesterday, he ripped off an 11.05 100-meter dash to score 851 points, his top-scoring event of the afternoon. He ran a 51.73 in the 400 meters to tally 753 points.
St. John's Ryan Damlo finished second with 5805 points and St. Olaf's Evan Sundquist was third with 5731 points.
The places and points earned will carry over into next week's MIAC Championships, hosted by Concordia College, Moorhead, on May 9-10.
