NEW OLEANS, La. – In this week’s USTFCCCA NCAA Division III regional team rankings, the Carleton Men’s Outdoor Track and Field team holds the No. 9 spot in the Central Region. The Knights dropped one spot in the rankings, after the team’s performances at the Macalester Twilight, Drake Relays, Gustavus Drake Alternative, and the Rolex Classic.

The Knights have recorded one of the region’s top-eight times for eight different events, highlighted by Marcus Huderle (Jr./Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie), who holds down the top spot in the steeplechase. He turned in a time of 9:23.35 at the San Francisco State University Distance Carnival on March 29. Colby Seyferth (So./Banks, Ore./Banks) has four top eight times in the region, while the MIAC Men's Outdoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week, Hart Hornor (Fy./Seattle, Wash./Roosevelt) captured the fourth best time in the 5000m with his 14:58.92 performance at the Macalester Twilight.

The Knights' next competition is the MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which will be contested at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. on May 10-11.
