The Knights sent seniors John Hanks (LeRoy, Minn./LeRoy-Ostrander) and Peter Samuels (Concord, N.H.) to the Lee Krough Invitational hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College. Hanks finished 9th in the javelin throw by hurling the javelin 49.40 meters. It is the second furthest throw of Hanks’ career. Hanks had the sixth best throw among MIAC competitors at the meet and he currently holds the seventh best throw in the MIAC this year.
Peter Samuels took 36th in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:30.15. Samuels had the 19th best time of any MIAC runners.
The Knights next meet is the Carleton Relays on Saturday April 18th at Laird Stadium.
