The Knights won 92-74 over the University of Minnesota in their first meet of the year. Charlotte Alster (Fy./Tucson, Ariz./ Catalina Foothills), Stephanie Moberg (Jr./Tucson, Ariz./North Canyon), and Dara Strauss-Albee (Sr./Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata) finished second in the trios competition with a score of 67.333, which was just a half a point short of winning.
Alster was narrowly denied again falling in the solo event by less than two points. Moberg and Strauss-Albee combined for another second place finish in the duets competition. The Knights best score in the team competition was also second with 64.250 points. The team consisted of Alster, Moberg, Strauss-Albee, Hannah Nitecki (Fy./Rushford and Winona, Minn./Rushford-Peterson) and Liza Styles (Sr./Amherst, Mass./Pioneer Valley Performing Arts).
Carleton will face the University of Minnesota again on February 8th.
