For the second consecutive contest the Knights got off to a slow start, as the Panthers broke to a 13-4 advantage as Carleton had five turnovers in the first four minutes. The Knights settled down, getting five straight points from Grabowski and eventually taking the lead at 16-15 on a Beth Freeman (Fy./Richfield, Minn.) lay-up.
