Northfield, Minn. – The Carleton College women's basketball team will host Concordia College, Moorhead, on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. in the MIAC Playoffs championship game at West Gym.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for students, with children under five-years-old free. Tickets can be purchased from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, at West Gym, or on the day of the game, starting at 2 p.m.
Carleton (23-3) has won the past three MIAC Playoff titles and is the second seed in the tournament. It defeated third-seeded Gustavus Adolphus College last night in the semifinals, 55-52, to advance to the championship game. The Cobbers (21-6) upset the tournament's top seed, the College of St. Benedict, in the semifinals, 73-70. Carleton swept the season series from Concordia this season. The winner of the championship tilt receives the MIAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
