Over Thanksgiving week, the Carleton women’s basketball team traveled to Los Angeles. The trip was especially exciting for me because I not only played in my first collegiate game, but also saw the ocean and went to Disneyland, both for the first time. The part of the trip I most looked forward to, however, was going on an airplane for the first time. I was the only one on the team who had never done so, and it was great to experience it with my fantastic teammates.  

When we weren’t on the court in California, we toured Warner Brother’s Studios, went shopping, had Thanksgiving dinner, saw the ocean and just hung out at the hotel. The trip allowed me to get even closer to my teammates, and we all had tons of fun in the process!
