NEW ORLEANS --Despite coming off one of their best performances of the season, the Carleton Women’s Cross Country team dropped three spots in the national rankings, falling from No. 12 to No. 15 in the most recent USTFCCCA Coaches Poll. The Knights did, however, solidify their No. 2 rank in the Central Region for another week after placing third out of 29 teams at the Roy Griak Invitational in St. Paul. In fact, the Knights have finished third or better in every event this season.
Next up for the team is the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire BluGold Invitational this coming Friday, October 4.
