NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The Carleton College women’s cross country team went across town to race in the annual Karhu Shoe Race at St Olaf College. The Knights came away with a 22-33 victory in this entertaining event.

The Karhu team event is made up of runners who will not be running in the NCAA Central Region Championships next weekend at St Olaf.
Carleton was led today by Claire Trujillo (Fy./Anchorage, Alaska/Grace Christian) who captured the individual title with a time of 15:32. Sophie Glassford (So./Mishawaka, Ind./Penn), Nicole Nipper (Fy./Minneapolis, Minn./Minnehaha Academy), Allison Domingues (Fy./Plymouth, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong) all had top five finishes. Glassford was second in 15:37, three seconds ahead of Nippert. Domingues was fifth with a time of 15:52.
