Facts/History
Entering 14th year as varsity sport, 13th with full competition schedule... Laura Knutson '11 is first Carleton women's golfer to earn all-conference honors in consecutive seasons, as she was 2008 and 2009 All-MIAC… Katrina Wood '09 named all-region and earned spot at NCAA Championships as individual qualifier in 2008… Kassie Wells '07 became first Carleton female golfer to compete at NCAA Championships, finishing 34th at the 2007 national championships… Team has produced three National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars in 2003-04, 2004-05 and 2005-06 and 14 overall in the last six seasons… Carole Pushing Burch '61 was Carleton's first-ever female national champion, winning the National Women's Collegiate Golf Championship as a first-year season in 1958. She was a two-time winner of the Minnesota State Amateur Golf Tournament. She passed away in April 2003.
