Laura Knutson (Jr./Edina, Minn./Edina HS), All-MIAC in 2008. Third-best career scoring average (84.9) in program history. Set new school first-year scoring records for 18-, 36- and 54 holes, as well as single season average (85.05). 2005 Minnesota Class AA state qualifier as individual, 2007 Classic Lake Conference Championship runner-up.
Meghan Gajare (Jr./Kalamazoo, Mich./Portage Central), Dropped five strokes from her first-year average and earned four top-20 finishes. Started every event in 2007-08 (11) and notched two top-20 finishes. 2004 and 2007 Michigan Division 1 state tournament participant.
Louise Buckler (Jr./Blaine, Minn./St. Paul Academy), Missed the 2008-09 spring season while studying abroad in Paris. Started every event in 2007-08 (11) and notched two top-20 finishes. Named team's most improved player. 2007 Tri-Metro Conference Championships medalist and all-conference pick.
Traci Johnson
(So./Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North), Played in every tournament in 2008-09 (11). Lake Conference Honorable Mention 2006, 2007, and 2008. Lake Conference Team Champions 2008. Section 1AAA Team Champions 2008. Fifth place team in Minnesota State AAA Golf Tournament 2008.

Facts/History
Entering 12th year as varsity sport, 11th with full competition schedule... 2007-08 squad was nationally ranked the entire spring season, rising as high as 17th in the GolfWorld/NGCA Division III Coaches Poll… Team tied 18-hole school scoring record and set new 36- and 54-hole records during 2007-08 season… Katrina Wood '09 named all-region and earned spot at NCAA Championships as individual qualifier in 2008… 2006-07 squad set new school season scoring record of 350.6. Also recorded best MIAC Championships finish (fourth) in school history… Kassie Wells '07 became first Carleton female golfer to compete at NCAA Championships, finishing 34th at the 2007 national championships… Team set numerous school records during 2004-05 season, including low 18-hole round of 333 at Small College Desert Classic and low 36-hole total of 677, also at the Small College Desert Classic. Team has produced three National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars in 2003-04, 2004-05 and 2005-06 and 10 overall in the last four seasons… Carole Pushing Burch '61 was Carleton's first-ever female national champion, winning the National Women's Collegiate Golf Championship as a first-year season in 1958. She was a two-time winner of the Minnesota State Amateur Golf Tournament. She passed away in April 2003.
