KANSAS CITY, Kan. — In the most recent NSCAA regional poll the Carleton women’s soccer team (7-5-4, 4-2-3 MIAC) is listed at No. 8. The Knights capped their week by tying national No. 7 and previously unblemished Concordia College, 1-1, and defeating Wisconsin Eau-Claire by a 2-1 score. The draw with Concordia was Carleton's second tie against a nationally-ranked team in as many weeks.
Four other MIAC schools are also ranked in the region: Concordia (No. 1) Macalester College (No. 3), University of St. Thomas (No. 4), and St. Olaf College (No. 7 ).
The Knights finish up their MIAC regular season this week with two games and a chance to make the playoffs. On Wednesday, Oct. 28 the Knights battle St. Catherine University and have their season finale Saturday, Oct. 31 against St. Olaf.
