
SHENANDOAH, Texas –Sophie Pilhofer (Sr./Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Visitation) saw the curtain come down on her collegiate swimming career as she placed 18th in the 100-yard freestyle on the final day of competition at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships. Pilhofer turned in a time of 51.74, missing a spot in the consolation final by 0.11 second.
This was her third event at the national meet. She placed third overall in the 50-yard freestyle on Wednesday, earning her first All-America award. Pilhofer also raced in the 100-yard butterfly on Thursday, turning in a lifetime-best mark of 58.00.
