NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Austen Chase (Sr./San Antonio, Texas/International School) won the 1-meter competition at the Northfield Diving Invite on Tuesday evening. She established a new personal best with a score of 217.85 on the lower board and finished second at the 3-meter height after tallying a score of 206.15.
Teammate Liz Furuya (Sr./Williston Park, N.Y.) also set a personal-best score of 155.92, which qualified her for the 1-meter competition at the upcoming MIAC Championships.
The final tune-up for next weekend’s conference meet will be this Friday as the divers take part in the St. Thomas Diving Invitational.
