The Carleton women’s tennis team has enjoyed a great deal of success over the years, earning national rankings throughout the 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 seasons. Carleton climbed as high as No. 20 in 2012, matching the program’s highest ranking since 1996. The Knights were also listed at No. 5 in the final central region rankings for 2012.

The team successfully defended its MIAC Playoff title in 2013 and earned a return trip to the NCAA Championships, the Knights’ fifth trip overall to the national tournament. The Knights advanced to the regional semifinals, helping Carleton finish the season No. 29 in the nation. Bridget Doyle ’13 and Mikayla Becich ’16 earned All-America honors and six team members picked up all-conference distinction.

Capping off a great season, the Knights were also the recipients of the ITA National Team Sportsmanship Award for the month of May. The Knights have also been named an ITA All-Academic Team every year since the award began.
