Carleton College sophomore Amelia Campbell smashed the NCAA Division III all-time record in winning the pentathlon at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships. Campbell broke three school records and established five personal bests in winning all five events en route to totaling 3,914 points.

The MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held March 6-8 at McNeely Spectrum on the campus of Saint John’s University. The Carleton College women’s team has been breaking school records all season, while the men’s team has been gaining momentum heading into the conference meet.

The Carleton College women’s track team outdid itself yet again at the Ole Open. Another slew of school records fell on Friday night in what has become a weekly occurrence in the team’s remarkable season. This was the sixth consecutive meet at which the Knights broke at least two school records.

The Carleton College women's indoor track and field team continued its record-breaking season, and at the University of Minnesota Parent's Day Open, Knights' junior runner Colette Celichowski and senior thrower Kao Sutton starred. In recognition of their performances, the duo swept the conference’s weekly honors as they were tabbed the MIAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes-of-the-Week.

The Carleton College women’s track and field team broke four team records on Saturday. That total that would be extraordinary in almost any other season but seems almost normal by the standards of the Knights 2014 run.

The Carleton’s College women’s track team took first out of five teams at the Meet of the Hearts on Saturday as another slate of school records fell. Amelia Campbell broke the 55-meter hurdle mark, and Kao Sutton established a new program standard in the shot put. The Knights also bested the 4x200-meter relay record.
