ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Carleton College women’s track and field team opened a busy week by sending two student-athletes to the Hamline Twilight on Wednesday. Clare Franco (Sr./Brunswick, Maine/Brunswick) ran a season-best time of 59.10 and placed fourth in the 400-meter dash. Her time is currently seventh in the MIAC this season.
Megan Erlandson (Sr./Minneapolis, Minn./Minnehaha Academy) bettered her season-high in the pole vault, clearing 3.20 meters (10 feet, 6 inches), which ranks fifth in the conference this season.
This weekend, Carleton will send student-athletes to the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa and the Drake Alternative Meet in St. Peter, Minn.
