NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Amelia Campbell (Fy./Sturgeon Bay, Wis./Sturgeon Bay) earned All-MIAC recognition as she finished second in the pentathlon at the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Campbell placed among the top-five finishers in each event. She posted the top time in the 60-meter hurdles with her season-best mark of 9.33 seconds. Campbell was fourth in the high jump at 1.54 meters, followed by another season-best in the shot put, 10.97 meters to rank second. She concluded the evening with fifth-place results in the long jump (4.70 meters) and 800-meter run (2:30.93), the later resulting in another season-best time.
Campbell finished with 3261 points, less than 100 behind winner Kaari Jensen of Concordia.
The main portion of the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships begins at 2:30 p.m. on Friday with the field events.
