Offering quality and competitive athletics programs and facilities requires a substantial financial commitment. That's why a group of former athletes have established the CAI Annual Fund to support the highest quality athletic experience for students.
Carleton's top Ultimate teams, CUT and Syzygy, both moved on to the national tournament by virtue of its finishes at the regional championships this spring. CUT ended up finishing runner-up in the region, while Syzygy avenged last year's national tourney miss by capturing the regional crown. Both teams will participate in the USA Ultimate Collegiate Championships May 24-27 in Madison, Wis.
In 2010-11 Carleton student-athletes earned All-American honors nine times.
Carleton student-athletes won two NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships in 2010-11.
Carleton has a strong tradition of club and intramural sports involving more than 1,500 students annually. Carleton's varsity sports have a combined roster ranging from 375-475 student-athletes.
Out of more the 26,000 Carleton alumni, 12,134 have participated in one or more varsity, intramural, or club sport during their student years.
