7:30 a.m. NSW: NSW Group Breakfast Meeting
Various Locations: Join your NSW Group for a hearty breakfast, served with a side of interesting conversation and time for questions. At this meeting you will receive important information about meeting your Academic Advisor and begin your conversation about alcohol at Carleton. Dining locations will vary and be announced in previous NSW Group meetings. Don’t forget to bring your OneCard to access your meal plan.
8:00 a.m. NSW: Transfer Student Breakfast
Sayles-Hill 253: Time for transfer students to meet with your Academic Advisor, Class Dean and Registrar.
9:30 a.m. NSW: The Buzz
Skinner Memorial Chapel: The Buzz provides new students with REAL information about the continuum of alcohol use and abuse as it pertains to Carleton students. Learn important policy information from your peers and be a part of this campus conversation about choices you can make regarding alcohol use at Carleton. Followed by brief group discussions with your NSW Group.
9:30 a.m. Advising Workshop
Great Hall: This workshop is for all advising faculty

Sayles-Hill Great Space: Get help with your website at the Web Group's informal drop-in hours.
11:00 a.m. NSW: AED Training for the Class of 2016
Recreation Center: Hands on training for CPR and AED, providing students with tools to respond to heart-related medical emergencies.
12:00 noon NSW: Group Lunch Meeting
Various Locations: During lunch your New Student Week Leader will provide you with a unique meeting location for your Academic Advisor group meeting. Don’t forget to bring your OneCard to access your meal plan.
1:00 p.m. NSW: Language Placement
Language and Dining Center (LDC) Classrooms: Retesting to confirm placement out of further language study, language interviews, and placement testing for students not able to complete online testing. 2:30 p.m. NSW: Group Academic Advising Meeting
Various Locations: This is an opportunity to get to know your Advisor and your advising group. Advising is a two-way street; you’ll want to do your part to make this a successful relationship. Check The Hub online to learn the name of your Academic Advisor. Your New Student Week Leader will provide your unique meeting location at breakfast.
3:30 p.m. NSW: Music Fest
Concert Hall: The Music Department invites you to learn about Music at Carleton and how you can get involved! This presentation will include information about private lessons, ensembles, and classroom courses.
4:00 p.m. Tour of the Carleton Arboretum
Meet at the kiosk outside of the Recreation Center: Please join us for a guided walking tour of the Arboretum hosted by Nancy Braker. All new faculty, staff, and their families are welcome!
4:30 p.m. Women's Soccer hosts University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Public event

9:00 p.m. NSW: Live Band Karaoke & Pizza
Sayles-Hill Great Space: Live Band Karaoke. The name says it all. Karaoke with a LIVE BAND! Combining the silly fun of karaoke with the energy of a live rock band, Live Band Karaoke allows anyone to fulfill their rock-n-roll fantasy.
