This workshop will provide an overview of the topics included in the AP* Calculus AB curriculum. Calculus topics will be reviewed using materials from past AP* exams. In addition, topics such as curriculum design and instruction, text selection, technology, AP* examination expectations, and grading will be incorporated into the week. This will be an active “hands-on” workshop where appropriate activities and effective methods of teaching will be demonstrated. The TI83/84 calculator will be an integral part of the workshop and computer software will be introduced for demonstrations and graphics.

Rose Gundacker has been an AP* Calculus Reader for 11 years, with 5 years as a table leader. She has taught AB and BC Calculus at Rosemount High School for 20 years. After retiring last year, she is teaching Calculus and Statistics at St. Olaf College.
