A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available to students applying to the Summer Writing Program. Based on academic merit and college potential, scholarships will apply to overall tuition, room, and board expenses.

The comprehensive fee of $2,395 includes:

• Tuition
• All books and class supplies
• Six Carleton credit hours (equivalent to three semester hours)
• Room and board (all meals)
• Activities and excursions
• T-shirt

Application postmark deadline for scholarships is April 3, 2009.

You can download and fill out both the application and the recommendation form below.  Be sure to fill out both the general application as well as the scholarship application.  In addition, you will have to answer the essay questions.  You can save it to your computer and e-mail it to us as an attachment to swp@carleton.edu or mail it directly to us at the address to the left.
