HealthFinders Collaborative is a grassroots community organization put together by local citizens to address the critical health care needs of uninsured and under-insured members of the Northfield and Faribault communities. The organization has started an affordable health clinic at Little Prairie Church, as well as initiated a prescription drug fund, and is dedicated to helping individuals of low-income background attain access to medical care. Carleton College has a civic responsibility to help in this endeavor, and volunteers help with many aspects of the clinic—assisting with clerical, database, and translation work.
