Project Friendship

  • Chicas Latinas

    Chicas Latinas is a mentoring group with Latina middle schoolers in Faribault.
  • Girl Scouts

    Volunteers work with Northfield troops and/or assist with special events.
  • Kids for Conservation

    Volunteers create and teach their own environmental curriculum for third, fourth, and fifth grade students in the Northfield community.
  • KNO

    Kids' Night Out (KNO) provides free childcare to the low-income children of Northfield 2-3 Saturdays per term.
  • Korean Adoptee Program

    The goal of this program, organized by the Korean Students Association (KSA), is to provide area Korean-adopted children exposure to Korean culture and language.
  • La Escuelita

    La Escuelita, "The Little School," works with the children of the Latino community in Northfield.
  • Library Story Hour

    Library Story Hour sends volunteers to the Northfield Public Library every Saturday morning to read stories aloud, do crafts and play games with a group of young children.

  • Middle School Youth Center

    The Middle School Youth Center is a program for middle school students to hang out after school from 3 to 5:30pm.
  • M-TAG

    Volunteers will help participants at Rice County Corrections with homework and literacy skills in addition to coaching them and playing with them on an athletic setting.
  • Project Exchange

    Project Exchange creates a connection between teens from an alternative learning program and college students.
  • Project Friendship

    Project Friendship matches college students with elementary school youth (grades 2nd-7th) from the Northfield schools.
  • WomenCircle

    WomenCircle is a supportive group of college women and middle school girls that is centered on the needs and issues concerning women.
