Chicas Latinas is a mentoring group for middle school-aged Latina girls in Faribault, run through the Rice County Community Corrections Center. Volunteers hang out with the girls or accompany them on various excursions, offering the girls a new perspective and encouragement to stay in school. Volunteers meet on Wednesday afternoons at 3:30.
