Periodic Commitment
This program works with the Red Cross to bring a blood drive to Carleton several times per year. Student volunteers work with Red Cross staff to coordinate and run the two-day drive. Some tasks include advertising, registration, monitoring the canteen, and greeting donors.

Red Cross Certified personnel, Volunteers, PDs, Blood Donors, Friends for Moral Support

- PD Tasks -
Meet with Regional Red Cross representative to talk policy
Obtain informational literature materials
Recruit volunteers & donors
Secure donations from Sodhexo & Domino’s to hand food out to donors
“I ‘canteen’ ... I welcome donors and make sure they’re hydrated and make sure that generally they feel okay”
