Ruth’s House, in partnership with Catholic Charities and a number of local organizations, has undertaken a project to make available 9 to 10 units of transitional housing explicitly for homeless women and their children. The transitional housing program will give families space and time for healing for up to two years. Volunteers may be asked to do a variety of tasks, such as supervising children or food shopping. Volunteers visit Ruth's House Wednesdays and Sundays 6-9PM.
