Weekly commitment

One of the best ways to get youth excited about learning is to provide them with enthusiastic and dedicated mentors. Through the Main Street Mentor program, Carleton students are matched with high school students from the Key and the Northfield Alternative Learning Center (ALC). The Key is a youth-run youth center whose mission is to give voice and empower area youth. The ALC is an alternative high school which has a more independent learning environment, and its students have wide-ranging interests.
