Join the Arboretum Crew to restore the forests of the Upper Arboretum. Help remove non-native buckthorn and honeysuckle shrubs. Plant seeds of grasses and wildflowers in areas cleared of non-natives.
Meet at the bridge over Spring Creek in the Upper Arboretum, just downhill from the intersection of Oak and Second Streets. Bring drinking water, and work gloves if you have them. Long pants, closed toe shoes or boots and socks are recommended. This could be a dirty project, so wear clothes that you don't mind getting muddy and wet. Basically, dress for the weather! In the case of inclement weather, check the Arb website by 6 PM the night before for cancellation info.
