Just in time for your spring listening pleasure, we are happy to announce a new Arboretum publication: Amphibians of the Carleton College Cowling Arboretum. Compiled and illustrated by Student Naturalist Anna Persmark ’15, this guide will help you find and identify the nine species of frog, toad and salamander found in the Arboretum wetlands, water bodies, prairies and forests. Print out your copy and head to Kettle Hole Marsh—the chorus frogs are sure loud this time of year!
