As of 2003, every sophomore is required to complete a writing portfolio in order to complete the writing requirement. As a Writing Assistant, you will probably field your fair share of questions from students about the portfolio. To answer these questions, your best resource will be the newest portfolio folder, especially the “Insider’s Guide” stuffed inside. Any questions that you can’t answer yourself can be addressed to Carol Rutz, Director of the College Writing Program, x4082, who will be happy to answer students’ questions.
