Congratulations on being selected to work as a Writing Consultant in the Academic Support Center. You were chosen from a highly competitive pool of applicants through a process that paid close attention to applicants’ academic credentials and personalities. Specifically, we looked for folks who struck us as perceptive listeners and insightful readers. Our goal was to hire students who would be effective guides to their peers as they navigated the writing process and the varied challenges of writing across the curriculum.
