This resource allows you to host a collection of files on Moodle and have your students download them from a directory.

For instructions on how to upload the files and put them into folders, check out the Files page, in Administration Options.

Making a Directory

Once you have your files uploaded, all that really remains is to make your chosen directory visible to students. Turn editing on, if you haven't already done so, and choose "Display a directory" in the "Add a Resource..." menu on the week that you would like the directory to appear.

Give your directory a name (this is the name that will appear on the link in the weekly schedule), and, optionally, a brief summary.

Then, pick the actual folder that you want to link to. Be aware that your students will be able to see and download everything that is in that folder.

Finally, set Visible to "Show", and when you go back to your main Moodle page, you will see a link to your directory in the week that you chose.
