Deposits
Please deliver all deposits to the Business Office during cashier hours. Deposits should be made daily to ensure accurate department fund availability.
Petty Cash
Carleton College permits departments to maintain a limited petty cash fund. All departments maintaining petty cash funds are required to exercise specific controls over its use and safeguard the fund at all times.
Petty Cash Reimbursements are made by the Business Office for the amount paid out of the petty cash fund. All reimbursements must be accompanied by original receipts and/or proper documentation as stated in the Petty Cash Policy.
Check Cashing Services
Check cashing is available at the Carleton Bookstore, located in Sayles-Hill. The Bookstore will cash checks up to $100 total in one business day during full service business hours. A valid Carleton ID is required.

Quarters for Laundry
The Carleton Bookstore provides students with quarters during full service business hours for laundry purposes. The daily limit at the Bookstore is one $10 roll of quarters per person.
