Perkins Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note E-Signature

Have you already received a Federal Perkins loan?

If you are a returning student who has borrowed Perkins loan(s) in the past - by accepting the Perkins Loan(s) offered to you on your financial aid award letter for the current year and signing the award letter, we will automatically process your loan(s). No further action is required by you.

First Time Borrower?

First time Perkins loan borrowers must complete online Loan Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note E-signature. This is a mandatory requirement by the Department of Education and your Perkins loan cannot be credited to your tuition account until both of these requirements have been successfully completed.

Perkins Exit Counseling

Are you a graduating Senior?

Completion of Perkins Exit Counseling is a mandatory requirement, before graduation from Carleton College, by the Department of Education. This is an online procedure. If you have received Institutional and/or Henry Strong loans, these will be included with your exit counseling.
