What happens to the $200 enrollment payment?
The enrollment payment remains in a seperate account under students ID# until the student graduates or leaves Carleton. The $200 payment is then returned to the parent unless the student has an unpaid tuition or miscellaneous balance.
Note: The $200 payment is not a payment towards tuition.
Is the $400 payment due June 1 (incoming new students only) applied to the students tuition account?
Yes, the payment is credited to the student tuition account for fall term.
Is the $400 payment refundable if the student does not attend Carleton?
The payment is refunded only if the student withdraws for medical reasons before the start of fall term classes.
How will I be notified regarding my tuition bill?
Students will get a notification by Carleton e-mail several weeks before the due date. The student logs into the main menu of the Hub to find the tuition account statement and can view, print, or download the statement. The downloaded statement can be e-mailed to the person making the payments.
Note: Email notices are sent each term to students after charges are applied to their tuition accounts and are available for viewing on the HUB.
Where are my music lessons billed and when are they due?
Music lesson charges are billed to the students tuition account during the 5th week of the term. Music lesson charges are due 3 weeks after they are billed.
